Taking teenagers on holiday can be challenging, but here at Les Ormes, we offer so many adventures and activities to choose from that the only moans and groans you will hear are, 'Can we do that again? It was so much fun… please?’. In fact, teenagers will not know what to do first.
You can't visit Jersey and not experience watersports which we offer in abundance with qualified instructors:
Coasteering is the ultimate adventure activity and is the perfect way to appreciate Jersey's amazing natural coastline, plus it's great family fun! For an adrenaline hit, coasteering takes you in and out of the sea, climbing, traversing, swimming, and jumping off rocks into the sea. Your coasteering adventure will be with one of our qualified instructors along carefully planned routes. All activities will be tailored to your comfort levels, but it's fun to push your limits!
Kayaking is an ideal way to experience Jersey’s secluded beaches, bays and coves. For beginners, we offer an introduction session kayaking close to shore. For those with a bit more experience, the sunset tour of the local bays is the best way to see Jersey's spectacular sunsets.
Stand up paddleboarding is the latest water sport that is cooking up a storm and is very popular in Jersey. Learning to paddleboard is great fun and can be as exhilarating or as relaxing as you like - it is a truly flexible paddle sport. It’s the perfect family summer activity, so give it a try, and you’ll notice how much better and stronger you feel.
On-site activities
Our stunning 9 hole golf course overlooks St Ouen's Bay and has spectacular coastal views. A Golf Pass can be purchased for £50, which gives unlimited play from Monday to Friday - the pass includes clubs and shoes.
When the sun is out and at its hottest, the whole family can cool down in our outdoor pool It's heated to 27 degrees with a slide, water fountain, infant pool and is lifeguarded. Opens daily from 10 am to 6 pm. We also have an indoor pool that is open to guests at selected times, please ask for further details. You can even book swim lessons to improve your child's stroke or confidence.
Another fun way to explore the island is to hire a bike Jersey has a fascinating network of 'green lanes' with a 15-mph speed limit to explore safely by bicycle – we offer bikes for hire on site.
