Golf FAQs
Do I need to be staying at Les Ormes to play golf?
No - the golf course at Les Ormes is open to everyone, not just resort guests.
We have pay and play options, memberships and for guests, you can add on a weekday golf pass to your holiday booking, allowing unlimited golf Monday to Friday.
Is there equipment available to hire?
Yes - golf clubs and equipment are available to hire at Les Ormes, so you don't need to travel to Jersey with your own set.
It's ideal for holidaymakers who fancy a round without bringing kit.
Can beginners play?
Absolutely.
Les Ormes is well suited to beginners, with a 9-hole course that's welcoming and approachable rather than intimidating.
It's a great place to try golf for the first time or brush up on your skills.
Can children play on the course?
Yes - children and juniors are welcome to play golf at Les Ormes (ages 7+), if they are accompanied by an adult.
It's a family-friendly setup, making it easy to introduce children to the game during a holiday in Jersey.
How do I book?
You can only book a round of golf via our booking engine. When booking, you are only booking an individual slot and may be joined by others that have also booked a slot at that time.

Can I move my slot?
Unfortunately, we can't move your golf slot. All Golf bookings are final and cannot be refunded.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We operate a 'play come what may' policy when the course is open. If we have to close the course due to extreme weather, we will automatically refund you in full, there is no need to contact us.
Can I hire a buggy and/or clubs?
We have a limited stock of golf buggies, trolleys and club sets. These can only be hired via Reception on the day you are playing.
Do you have a dress policy?
We kindly ask that you do not wear jeans.
Trainers can be worn on our course, we want you to be comfortable.
Do I need a certain handicap?
You don't need a handicap to play on our course and we welcome beginners. However, you must be able to keep up with the flow of the course. We recommend that novice golfers avoid booking at busy periods including weekends.
Can I book 18 holes?
Yes. Simply add 2 rounds of 9-holes to your basket and check-out in one booking. Please ensure you put at least 2- hours between starting your 1st 9-holes and the back 9-holes.
Am I Insured to play
We advise you to have your own golf insurance as this is not covered by your green fee or membership.
