Les Ormes evolves to the next level

Roll on 2022: The dark times of lockdowns will hopefully be behind us and work can start on taking Les Ormes to the next level in self-catering resorts.

The new project will accommodate holidaymakers’ anticipated post-covid need for more space, independence, and being able to interact with our beautiful natural environment.

This is a real boost for the Island’s tourism industry while also helping the Bosdet Foundation (the charitable foundation funded by Les Ormes) to achieve its target of donating £1 million to local community groups and organisations by 2030.

Work will take place in a series of steady phases over six years while avoiding causing any disruption during the summer seasons. ‘The project has a series of building blocks and we can’t do it all in one go, as it would be too disruptive,’ said Mike Graham. ‘Ultimately it’s working to a masterplan and I can’t understate how it changes the quality of Les Ormes for the decades ahead. It really means that Jersey will have a world-class facility.’
