Les Ormes Padel Expansion: Launching July 2026
Padel has taken Jersey by storm - and nowhere is that more evident than at Les Ormes. Since opening its doors in May 2025, Les Ormes Padel has welcomed around 1,000 players every week, from complete beginners to competitive regulars. Families, teens, social players, corporate groups - the courts have been buzzing from morning to night.
Now, as demand continues to soar, Les Ormes is preparing for its next major step forward.
A £200k Expansion for Summer 2026
Thanks to a second successful application to the Jersey Business Better Business Grant, Les Ormes will invest £200k into expanding its padel facilities - with £75k of that funding provided through Jersey Business.
This development will introduce:

Three brand‑new double courts

One innovative single court

A fully extended padel zone on the left‑hand side of the sports building

A seamless layout complementing the existing four panoramic double courts
Once complete, Les Ormes will become the largest padel centre in Jersey - a milestone that reflects both the sport’s popularity and our long‑term vision for a complete Padel & Sports Hub.

More Than Courts: A Growing Wellness Destination
The padel expansion is just one part of a much bigger picture.
Above the courts, the newly launched Les Ormes Wellness Studio is already thriving. With classes ranging from Pilates and gentle yoga to aerial yoga, sound bath and hula fitness, the studio has quickly become a calming, creative space for islanders and holiday guests seeking balance and wellbeing.

As Sports & Leisure Manager Steve Dunford explains:
