Bosdet recently launched a swimming programme for local children who might not otherwise get the chance to learn. Hundreds of Year 3 pupils will now get free swimming lessons right here in Jersey.
A Lifesaving Skill for Every Child
The programme, launched in partnership with schools and community groups like Centrepoint and Ace of Clubs, is designed to give children access to high-quality, expert-led swim lessons at Aquasplash - completely free of charge.
For many families, swim lessons simply aren’t affordable. This initiative helps level the playing field, ensuring all children can gain confidence, stay safe, and enjoy the water.
🗣️ “Swimming is not only a fun activity; it’s a vital skill that saves lives,” says Alan Le Pavoux, Bosdet Foundation Manager and swim safety teacher.
“This programme will have a significant impact on water safety across the Island.”
